About Rose Rees
Greetings!
My name is Rose Rees, and I started Conservation Institute because I truly care about the world we live in. As fragile as it is beautiful, we all need to do our bit to preserve the planet for future generations.
Together with fellow blogger Christopher Mathis, I’ve set about trying to cram as much information about the world of conservation into one place as possible.
Because there was a time when environmentalism was a fringe issue but those days are, thankfully, long gone. Today, more and more people are waking up to the reality of decades of reckless destruction.
From human-made ecological catastrophes to the pressing threat of a looming climate change disaster, everywhere we look the damage done to our precious ecosystem leaps out at us.
Species lurk on the fringes of extinction; natural resources are plundered down to the wick. Our oceans drown in plastic, landfills smolder, and once-mighty forests shrink.
It feels hopeless at times.
But the fightback has already begun.
The War Against Waste

Indeed, we believe that conservation is the single greatest challenge facing humanity today.
That’s why the conservation institute should be your go-to place for news, advice, and features when it comes to the environment.
